Tai Chi Academy |
Located in Sunnyvale, California, the Academy
of Tai Chi and Wu Shu also known as Tai Chi Academy,
is a school established to promote the health, discipline, skill, and cultural aspects of the Chinese Martial Arts.Integrating traditional and scientific training methods developed while teaching at Stanford University by Sifu Howard Shing Yuen Chuck, the Academy is the Chinese Martial Arts learning center for all ages and levels. Our classes are structured to help you develop flexibility, relaxation, balance and strength while avoiding injuries. Instruction includes an extensive stretching routine, meditation stances and push hands, all in conjunction with learning the traditional forms. At the Academy, we teach the traditional Yang, Chen, and Wu style Tai Chi Chuan forms with the understanding of Yin and Yang in relation to the body and mind. Every session you will receive personal attention in a friendly, relaxing, encouraging class atmosphere. |
